Ferrosilicon

Ferrosilicon is a ferroalloy composed of iron and silicon, commonly available in grades FeSi75, FeSi65, FeSi72 etc. It has stable chemical composition, low harmful impurities and good fluidity.

It is widely used as high‑efficiency deoxidizer, desulfurizer and alloying agent in steel‑making, cast iron and non‑ferrous metal smelting. It can increase hardness, wear resistance and oxidation resistance of steel. Also used as reducing agent in magnesium smelting and mineral processing industry.
